Step 1: Go to volunteerapp.lausd.net.
Step 2: Sign in as a LAUSD parent.
Step 3: Fill out the application for the 2024-2025 school year. For returning volunteers, your application will roll over. However, at this time (May 2024), the fingerprinting does not seem to be rolling over electronically.
Reminder: TB Test results last 4 years. If your TB test expires, please test again and bring in a copy of the results.
Step 4: Please come into the office to sign the commitment form OR print out the commitment form you signed electronically on your volunteer app.
For NEW Tier II Volunteers: You must submit a TB test, results have to be within 60 days of your application. For example, you apply online on June 1. You must have your TB test results ranging from May 1 to July 1.
For NEW Tier III Volunteers: You will need to go through fingerprinting.
