The last day of summer school is July 19.
Reminder: Westwood staff is out of office from June 27-July 17. Summer school is hosted on our campus, so we are not able to answer any questions about enrollment or the general school year until we return.
TAP Cards
Please check your child's Schoology account mail for the new 2024-2025 code to activate a student TAP card. Since Westwood staff is out of office, we are unable to give out the physical card until we return. Please note that we need to order a new batch for the upcoming year, so we would recommend to wait until it is closer to the first day of school before inquiring further.
Volunteer Application Update
Fingerprinting is starting to roll over slowly. If you are a returning volunteer that has previously gone through fingerprinting, please be patient! Principal Timmerman is unable to approve Tier III volunteers until LAUSD rolls over the data.
Once the data rolls over, the office must print out applications and Ms. Timmerman will approve them one by one. After that, the district will go through each of them for approval. This process can take up to 6 weeks.
For all volunteers, we will need a physical copy of your commitment form. You can either print out the one you filled out in your online application or fill a physical one out in the office. We will return on the 18th, so there is still time before the new school year begins!
For new volunteers, please remember that you must submit a TB test.
To all volunteers that have completed everything they need, it is possible that your application will have the "Incomplete or Errors" status. This may be caused by 1) Tier III needing their fingerprinting or 2) the office must review it once to complete missing fields.
